LA Valley Recovery is Hiring a Group Facilitator Near North Hollywood, CA

Provides for organized and structured groups in the Residential Substance Abuse Treatment Facility Setting.

Facilitate groups of a maximum of 6 patients.

Documents individualized notes in an electronic medical record system (KIPU) after each group.

Successfully create a positive atmosphere and a safe space for open discussion for clients recovering from drug and alcohol addictions.

Provide support to all program participants in a way that reflects the dignity and worth of every individual as well as the common risks associated with substance abuse and mental health disorder populations.

Group sessions run 60-90 minutes.

-Knowledge of the Substance Abuse Population 

-12-Step knowledge

-Experience with Group Facilitation in the Treatment Center setting

-Experience with Kipu is a

-Ability To Plan Rotating Structured Group Setting

-LMFT/AMFT/LCSW/CADCI/II Preferred
