Cypress Physical Therapy is Hiring a Physical Therapy Technician Near La Place, LA

We are seeking a dedicated and motivated Physical Therapy Technician to join our team. As a Physical Therapy Technician, you will play a vital role in assisting physical therapists in providing quality care to our patients. You will work closely with patients, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure the smooth and effective delivery of physical therapy services.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist physical therapists in implementing treatment plans for patients under their care.
  • Prepare treatment area and equipment for therapy sessions
  • Assist patients with exercises and therapeutic activities as directed by the therapist.
  • Monitor patients during therapy sessions and report any changes or concerns to the therapist.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the therapy area and equipment.
  • Assist in administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records.
  • Educate patients and their families about exercises and home care techniques.
  • Adhere to safety and infection control protocols at all times.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in healthcare or

physical therapy is preferred.

  • Prior experience in a healthcare/fitness setting, preferably in physical therapy or rehabilitation.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
  • Attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
  • Physical stamina and ability to lift/move patients and equipment as needed.
  • Knowledge of basic medical terminology and anatomy.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
