Overview:

As a Food Server at La Familia Cortez Restaurants, you are responsible for ensuring our guests’ dining experiences are enjoyable and well-timed. Food Servers will provide excellent customer service beyond the guests' expectations. A professional attitude is necessary for this team environment.

Requirements:

• Must be at least at least 18 years of age.
• 2 years serving experience in high volume restaurants preferred.
• Excellent problem solving and decision making skills.
• Active listening and effective communication skills.
• Ability to stand for up to four (4) hours at a time.
• Ability to lift up to forty-fifty (40-50) pounds.
• TABC and Texas Food Handler's Certification.

Responsibilities:

• Professional full service at tables with ability to up sell additional products.
• Make recommendations or share additional information upon request.
• Work as a team with all service and kitchen staff.
• Follow all relevant health department rules/regulations.
