Job Summary:
Responsible for providing direct patient care to medical and/or behavioral health patients by performing general clinical duties. The Certified Medical Assistant plays a key role in the Physicians practice and provides clinical expertise to ensure all patients receive high quality, cost effective and efficient care.

- Ability to work in compliance with Medical Assistants Scope of Practice as required by LCDF
Job Requirements:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Successful completion of a Medical Assistant accredited teaching establishment
- One year of clinical/medical office experience; two years preferred; experience as a phlebotomist preferred.
- Current CPR and phlebotomy certifications required
- Must have a current and unrestricted medical assistant (CMA) certification
