We are looking for a hardworking individual with experience in cost estimation in the excavation industry.

L5 Excavation is looking for an excavation estimator to be able to work in Springtown/Grapevine. This position will be working directly with our director of operations. Preferably experience with electrical trenching, duct banks, mass excavation, large pad benching, ponds, and dams.

Typically, 40-hour weeks.

• Analyze construction blueprints and other documents to prepare time frames, costs, material, and labor estimates
• Prepare bid packages, development budgets, and analyze subcontractor bids for use in conceptual and bid proposal estimates
• Establish pricing and conduct comparison activities
• Work closely with construction project management team to maintain estimate throughout project
• Consult with vendors and internal project teams to resolve issues
• Establish and maintain strong subcontractor relationships
