ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Efficiently scan address barcodes to UPS/Ontrac terminal
Maintain a clean, neat and orderly work area
Conduct operations in a manner that promotes safety
Carry or transport orders to shipping locations or delivery platforms with material handling equipment
Inspect and perform minor maintenance on the equipment
Examines outgoing shipments to ensure shipments meet specifications
Tag or mark boxes as requested
Meet company standards for productivity
Maintains inventory of shipping materials and supplies
Compares identifying information and counts, weighs, or measures items of outgoing shipments to verify information against L&R carton label
Verifies and keeps records on outgoing shipments
Determines method of shipment, utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes, and rates
Build safe pallets to ship out
SUPERVISION
General Supervision: routine duties are performed with minimal supervision; standard practices or procedures allow me to proceed alone at routine work; occasional check of work while in progress; work is reviewed upon completion
OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources
Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
Perform other duties as assigned.
