GENERAL PURPOSE OF JOB  

Receiving associates are responsible for receiving incoming product in accordance with company procedures. After getting a system updated from a supervisor the receiver is responsible for moving the product into the correct primary bin location or moving the product to a nearby reserve in neat and orderly fashion. After completing this task, receiver must ensure their license plate is clear of all products. Receiving associate may also be used as a backup replenisher.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Locate packing slip and enter PO into gun to begin receiving process

Receive product into the system by placing product into their license plate

After receiving is complete, receiver must get an update from a supervisor verifying that all the product was properly received

Receiver is then responsible for moving product from their license plate into the correct bin or a nearby reserve

After all product in license plate has been put away, receiver must check license plate to ensure all product was moved correctly

Moving pallets from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas

Consolidate reserve locations to clear up reserve space

Ensuring warehouse is accessible and safe for all employees and customer traffic

Organize warehouse/zone for neatness at all times

Ensure all bins are in good condition and fix or replace bins that are in poor condition

Ensure equipment is in good working order and report any and all issues to supervisors in a timely manner

Notify supervisor and/or inventory of issues with product counts or mixed bins

SUPERVISION

General Supervision: routine duties are performed with minimal supervision; standard practices or procedures allow me to proceed alone at routine work; occasional check of work while in progress; work is reviewed upon completion

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Comply with all safety policies, practices and procedures. Report all unsafe activities to supervisor and/or Human Resources

Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.

Perform other duties as assigned.
