Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities Manage the Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) for production environments in AWS/Datacenters. Manage build and deployment process for IaC including infrastructure and System Configuration Understanding of GIT (VCS) code management including branching strategies, resolving merge conflicts, and VCS hooks Understand and implement common Terraform / HCL code concepts – data structures, resources, and expressions Manage and be responsible for AWS, Datacenter, Windows and Linux systems up time and performance. Develop and architect infrastructure automation for AWS and on-premise (VMWare) Environments Own and drive projects development to delivery. Manage and maintain: Active Directory, Kubernetes, Docker, Chef, Ansible, JFrog Artifactory. Work closely with application development teams and tech leadership to drive projects. Experience Required Bachelor’s degree Expert in system build configuration automation. 5 years of experience in Linux. 5 years of experience building and maintaining a SaaS platform 4 years working experience with AWS: VPC, EC2, RDS, EKS. 3 years of experience using Terraform 2 years of experience with Docker and Kubernetes 3 years of experience with common DevOps programming languages (i.e. Python, Ruby, Bash, PowerShell, etc.) Experience with project management tools (Jira, Confluence) Preferred Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science or a related field Must be passionate about automation. Ruby / Chef programming experience. Rancher / RKE experience Experience with project management and tracking. Professional experience in software engineering. Mastered programming skills in one of: Ruby/Bash/Python/PowerShell. Build and release automation tools: Jenkins, GIT, Kubernetes - Preferably ArgoCD Production system integration, log collection and analysis, build and performance monitoring/tuning.
