SUMMARY:
Inspects construction to ensure that procedures and materials comply with plans and specifications. An inspector prepares progress reports, calculates dimensions and component specifications, reports maintenance problems, and discusses project requirements with superiors. The inspector also makes sure employees abide by corporate policies when performing tasks.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
A Bachelor of Science degree (B.S.) in the area of engineering equivalent from an accredited college or university is desirable, and three (3) plus years of related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Must know the standards of practice for construction management (professional practice, program management, project management, contract administration, time management, quality management, sustainability, cost management, value engineering, safety, and risk management). Computer proficiency is essential (experience using M.S. Office, mainly Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook).
