KVP Energy Services is Hiring a Journeyman Lineman (CDL) Near Marietta, GA
Power Standard, a kVP Energy Services Company, is now seeking qualified Journeymen Linemen for openings in Georgia. Work is generally located north of Atlanta. We offer competitive compensation, great benefits, per diem, and more!
Responsibilities:
The Journeyman Lineman position is responsible for the construction, maintenance, and repair of overhead distribution powerlines to include (but not limited to):
- New construction
- Pole Changeouts
- Line repair/replacement
- Emergency repair and power restoration after damage/outages
Requirements:
- A minimum of 4-5 years powerline experience (distribution experience preferred, Journeyman certification preferred)
- Working knowledge of electrical distribution systems and methods
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required
- Valid CDL with ability to meet company insurance requirements
Special Characteristics:
- Firm commitment to safety
- Ability to mentor apprentice linemen
- Ability to travel as needed
- Excellent judgment and decision making ability
