Description

SUMMARYThis position is responsible for troubleshooting Solar PV systems and performing required maintenance on Solar PV systems. A self-starter with strong attention to detail is needed for this position
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Knowledge and skillset to troubleshoot, diagnose and perform service work on solar PV residential systems.
  • Ability to read and understand single line diagrams.
  • Knowledge of different wire sizing and downsizing available.
  • Knowledge of the current building code.
  • Assures quality of work produced is acceptable and exceeds company standards.
  • Time management skills to maintain the day-to-day workload.
  • Verbal Communication Skills.
  • Execute customer service standards.
  • Needs to be knowledgeable of and abide by city and county requirements/ guidelines. As well as OSHA requirements.
  • Possess a strong commitment to safety.

Requirements

REQUIREMENTS

  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Solar or general construction experience preferred
  • Must have a valid CA driver’s license and a clear driving record
  • Ability to work independently with minimal instruction/direction
  • Strong commitment to a successful customer experience
  • Willingness to find answers to field issues and communicate them effectively to improve installation
  • Previous experience setting residential solar inspections
  • Experience with site gathering software (sitecapture)
  • Experience installing trouble shooting Endphase and Solar Edge systems.
