What are the responsibilities and job description for the Grading Assistant position at Kumon of Katy Green Trails?
Kumon is the world's largest after school math and reading enrichment program, and we're looking for dependable, enthusiastic individuals who enjoy working with children!
This is a part-time position that is offered year round. We are currently hiring for instructor assistants, as well as grading assistants.
Hours:
- Monday to Thursday 3:30pm - 7:00pm
Responsibilities:
- Assist in grading of worksheets neatly and accurately
- Record grades into record book
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of your work area and the center
- Grading classwork and homework assignments accurately and efficiently and providing timely assistance to students
Qualifications:
- High School Juniors, Seniors, and college students interested in working with children in a learning environment
- High school diploma or GED preferred, but not required
- Experience with children preferred, but not required
- Must hold a basic understanding of math and reading concepts
- Must have a reliable form of transportation
- be reliable, enthusiastic, patient, flexible, courteous and multi task efficiently
- be punctual and adhere to center's dress code
- be required to consent to a background check
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $7.25 - $9.00 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 12 per week
