Reporting to the Controller, the Accounting Manager is responsible for overseeing the general accounting function and financial statement preparation.

This role works collaboratively with operations, HR, development, Sales and Marketing to constantly evolve and support the performance results of the entire Kryterion Team.

Essential Job Functions

• Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, payroll, and general ledger
• Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements
• Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested
• Supervise and/or manage general ledger accounting functions
• Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships

Essential Qualifications

• Minimum seven years of accounting and controls experience is required.
• Senior-level, demonstrated leadership, management, communication, analysis, and organization skills. Excellent computer skills, including Microsoft Excel and Power Query
• Strong, demonstrated hands-on understanding of accounting systems and processes
• Experience with implementing new accounting systems preferred
• Comfort and desire to flex between working collaboratively and independently in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment
• Degree in Accounting or related field highly preferred.
