Title: Assistant Superintendent
Location: Los Angeles, CA
Qualifications
- 2 years of experience working as an Assistant Superintendent for a General Contractor
- B.S. in Civil or Construction Management is preferred but not required
- Background assisting with the development of multi-family structures such as senior living, university dorms, condos, hospitality, hotels, and/or mixed use
- Experience assisting on the development of a type I, II, and /or III podium deck structure
- Experience and knowledge of MEP process and procedures is strongly desired
Responsibilities
- Will assist with managing the safety, quality, schedule, and aspects of cost for the project
- Will assist with leading, planning, organizing, and coordinating the work of selected subcontractors on project site
- Implement and enforce the KPRS IIPP (Safety Program) to achieve No Lost Time Accidents
- Promote and ensure KPRS company policies are followed by subcontractor performance and commitments
- Will assisting in creating and issuing 3-Week Look Ahead schedules for subcontractors
- Call attention to efficient, high-quality workmanship by subcontractors to meet owner specs
- Complete punch list items
- Manage and coordinate agency inspections
- Collect, review, and file the Daily Work Reports into Procore
- Meet with Foreman of trades to review schedule, project progression, etc.
- Perform site walk thru with owners, developers, and sub-contractors
