Koops, Inc. is Hiring a Process Technician Near Holland, MI
The process technician performs tasks on equipment that has completed assembly and assists the project team in meeting all functional, performance, and quality requirements for the equipment.
The ideal candidate can:
- Perform initial setup of equipment after it has been completed by the Machine Assembly team including fixtures, sensors, motions, and other devices.
- Implement tuning needs on equipment in collaboration with the controls and project engineer to make equipment meet performance and functional requirements.
- Execute quality control tasks on equipment including various checks and tests to ensure equipment meets quality requirements.
- Assist the project team with identifying either design or manufacturing problems on equipment that has been built.
- Proficiently operate Microsoft office applications as well as basic computer skills.
The ideal candidate has:
- Knowledge of the practical application of engineering science and technology.
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
- Internal motivation as well as the ability to juggle multiple projects at once.
- Team mindset and desire to work together through employee ownership (ESOP).
- Professional presentation and focus on quality and customer satisfaction.
- A high standard of integrity
- An ability to use creative problem-solving skills to help provide rock solid solutions to our customers.
- The desire to work in an active work environment. (This is not a typical desk job)
- The willingness to travel occasionally. (Target 10-15%)
Candidates should have:
Two-year associates degree in an applicable skilled trade; two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
