Purpose:

Maintenance Engineer’s prime objective is to support the maintenance team in maintaining equipment in a planning, developing and in a technical manner.

General Duties:

• Managing all facets of the maintenance engineer’s assigned areas.
• Responsible for budget planning and maintaining budget for assigned areas.
• Responsible for reports, data or information showing performance levels.
• Develop planning and implement daily activities for PMs.
• Plan, organize and monitor shutdowns on scheduled dates.
• Engineers will be responsible for assigned equipment repairs, performance and needed activities.
• Monitor and maintain department records, SOPs, drawings, etc.
• Monitor manufacturing processes for opportunity to improve.
• Monitor materials ordered or stock needed to complete task.
• Help in maintaining inventory for department to perform accurate repairs.
• Maintain good safe working practices.
• Organize and maintain work areas for a good 5S.
• Continually work toward improving equipment performance and process.
• Perform all duties necessary in creating an efficient, effective and affordable maintenance engineering department.

Requirements:

• 2 Year Industrial Maintenance Degree or Journeyman card holder with minimum 5 years’ experience in Industrial maintenance
• Some supervisory/management experience required

Hours: M-F (7 am to 4pm or 8 am to 5 pm)
