Knoxville Consulting Inc is Hiring a Retail Sales Associate Near Knoxville, TN
We are looking for a responsible candidate with previous experience in customer service. The candidate should be a team player who is willing to work flexible schedules and be comfortable working in a fast-paced retail environment.
The ideal candidate enjoys keeping customers happy by checking in on them regularly, offering suggestions and being available to address any issues they might have with their services or shopping experience. We're also looking for individuals who can handle answering questions and providing excellent service.
Responsibilities
- Greet and direct customers
- Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services)
- Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services
- Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing
- Cross-sell products
- Ensure racks are fully stocked
- Manage returns of merchandise
- Coordinate with the Retail Sales Representatives team to provide excellent customer service (especially during peak times)
- Inform customers about discounts and special offers
- Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager
- Stay up-to-date with new products/services
Skills
- Proven work experience as a Retail Sales Representative, Sales Associate or similar role
- Understanding of the retail sales process
- Familiarity with consumer behavior principles
- Knowledge of inventory stocking procedures
- Basic math skills
- Track record of achieving sales quotas
- Excellent communication skills, capable of building trusting relationships
- Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
- Flexibility to work various shifts
- High school degree
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
