Knock is Hiring a Remote Manager, Strategic Partnerships

A Manager, Strategic Partnerships will prospect, establish, and maintain valuable relationships with CEOs, brokerages, broker owners, top teams and real estate agents. In adding value to the partnership, SPM’s provide educational support to agents and leadership on the distinct value proposition of Knock’s Home Swap™ & Knock GO (Guaranteed Offer)™. SPM’s can adopt the agent perspective and adapt to changing market conditions in order to provide insight as to how Knock’s unique power buying model can be leveraged for success.

  • Drive real estate agent partnership growth through engaging existing brokerage partners, along with identifying and signing new brokerage partnerships
  • Educate brokerage leadership on the Knock Home Swap™ & GO™ value propositions 
  • Onboard new brokers & real estate agents through our certification platform and customized training as needed
  • Develop training messaging unique to the real estate agent/brokerage’s needs within the market and present clear solutions with Knock’s value propositions. Create strategic plans for partners to integrate Knock’s programs and engage agents
  • Drive a deep understanding of the value chain and partnership landscape to create a win-win partnership that creates an advantage over competitors for our partners & Knock
  • Contribute to industry education on Knock’s product value propositions at events, industry conferences and brand conferences. Travel may be required 
  • Work cross functionally with teams internally and externally (e.g. engineering, sales, marketing, product, partners) to measure the strategic initiatives, to deploy, implement and execute the success of existing and future partnerships
  • Prospect and negotiate MSA contracts and establish MSA value. Launch successful new MSA relationships and drive loan application growth, while standing up operations for the partnership also coordinating ongoing support
  • Analyze existing MSA partnerships on a regular cadence and negotiate existing partnerships as needed, with the ability to identify growth opportunities and sever partnerships that are not aligned with critical objectives
  • Create & iterate a playbook for strategies to scale that align with company OKR’s, OSGM’s, & KPI’s
  • Leverage real estate industry knowledge to provide feedback and build processes to improve Knock’s ability scale quickly and effectively
  • Own end to end partnership acquisition for new and existing partnerships across key company verticals, including but not limited to OKR’s, OGSM’s, CAC, & KPI’s.
  • Take on ad-hoc projects as they arise & always be willing to support your team where they need you. Be nimble, agile, & open with feedback

Qualifications - You’ll Bring: 

  • Strategic Partnerships/Business development sales experience, preferably 4 years within the real estate space
  • Ability to effectively engage and influence a variety of audiences at all levels across the business from owners and Executives, through to individual contributors. A focus on relationships, able to gain trust through communication, expectation setting and completion of planned deliverables
  • Must have a proactive approach with engaging with internally with Knockstars & externally with existing/new partnerships
  • Have proven success working 100% remote in prior positions & are experienced working with a distributed, national team 
  • Exceptional communication, presentation, & interpersonal skills with the ability to drive C-Level, CEO-level conversations and maintain confidence in our services
  • Belief in creating diverse, equitable, and inclusive practices and programs that will further Knock’s commitment to making an impact, learning, putting people first, being open, and courageous
  • Education: Bachelor's or equivalent experience

Physical Requirements:

  • Set up and constantly operate a computer
  • Communicate and exchange accurate information to others via telephone or internet video applications
  • Travel required based on business needs (Within Knock’s 75 markets)

Our Compensation Philosophy: As a fully remote (U.S.-based) workforce, our goal is to ensure that all Knockstars are fairly compensated. Please note that the salary range information that follows is a good faith estimate for this position provided pursuant to the Colorado Equal Pay for Equal Work Act for Colorado applicants. The salary range estimate for this position is:$135,000.00 - $135,000.00 USD. 

The actual offer, reflecting the total compensation package & benefits, will be at the company’s sole discretion, and determined by factors including but not limited to years of experience, job level, geographic location, and other relevant business considerations. The company also reserves the right to amend or modify this job description, employee perks, and benefits at any time. Employees eligible for bonus and/or commission will be provided details in the offer letter.
