Knickerbocker Group is seeking an Interior Designer to assist senior designers with the development of design solutions including architectural concepts for interior projects. The ideal candidate has a passion for working in high-end residential interior design, enjoys working in a fast-paced collaborative environment, and has experience using Revit to produce design project documents.

Primary responsibilities include:

• Developing design plans and product specifications for assigned projects.
• Meeting with vendors to select samples and materials for client approval.
• Assisting with the selecting and installation of interior furnishings and window treatments.
• Attending client meetings and preparing notes for distribution to design team and clients.
• Managing and tracking orders to ensure they arrive in a timely fashion, in consultation with our procurement specialists.
• Assisting with the creation of comprehensive decor estimates, invoices, and client proposals for interior furnishings, window treatments, and accessories, in consultation with the senior designers and the procurement specialists.
• Meeting with new potential clients and walk-ins.

Required Qualifications and Experience:

• Undergraduate degree in Interior Design or Architecture.
• 3 or more years of experience in residential interior design.
• Knowledge and understanding of construction management.
• Technical proficiency requirements:
  
  • Microsoft Office including PowerPoint
  • Adobe Photoshop
  • Revit
  • AutoCAD
  • Experience with Design Manager preferred
