Klett Consulting Group (KCG) is a federal support contractor headquartered in Hampton Roads. KCG provides specialized program support across multiple areas for both military and civilian agencies.
KCG is seeking a Network Engineer to join our team.

Requirements:

• Network Engineering and information systems security experience
• Active Security Clearance

Candidate will support the information systems security functions in developing the test & evaluation plan for a next generation Navy business system. Duties:

• Analyze network design and configuration of routers, switches, firewalls, and other network equipment to enumerate system networks and identify possible hardware and software vulnerabilities.
• Develop Test criteria and plan operational tests on information systems and equipment as required.
• Provide technical support and advice to information systems security team on the set-up and performance of tests.
• Analyze network topologies and capacity requirements.
• Document, analyze, perform, and interpret developmental tests results for new system components.
• Utilize expert knowledge of networking protocols, ports and services.
• Utilize knowledge of current and developing technologies to analyze technology for use in current and future environments.
• Lead and manage complex technical projects and working groups

• BA/BS degree in Information Technology or related field
• 7 years experience in managing computer networks/system administration
• Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCVP) or equivalent experience and skill
• CompTIA Network , or Security preferred
• Microsoft and or Linux operating system administration experience
• Expertise and practical experience with routers, switches and other network equipment
