Kivvit is seeking a Graphic Design Intern to assist in creating and implementing assets for multi-faceted national campaigns. 

WHO YOU ARE

The position requires an original thinker who is skilled at forming creative and strategic concepts and bringing them to life in a visual way. Successful candidates will collaborate well across our team, and understand the balance and problem solving required to produce solid creative work that also meets our objectives.

The ideal candidate will be a recent graduate or pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and have a minimum of one year experience in the Graphic Design field. This position calls for a hands-on, multi-tasker with strong sense of concept development, grid layout, color and typography.

This paid position will be located in our New York office, requiring 40 hours per week. Our offices are operating on a hybrid model, with two days a week in person.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

As a member of our award-winning creative team, Interns will have the ability to work with and learn from Kivvit’s design team on a number of projects, including but not limited to:

• Create newsletters, flyers, proposals, infographics, logos, illustrations, digital and social media campaign collateral, and presentation materials
• Develop, design and edit print and digital materials
• Understand visual and contextual cues to appropriately integrate content into various design formats
• Maintain clean file structure and organization in a digital assets management system
• Effectively communicate with in-person teams and teams in other office locations

Desired Qualifications:

• Proficient in InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Acrobat; After Effects and Figma experience a plus
• Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Powerpoint
• Capable of incorporating feedback and direction quickly and efficiently 
• Flexible and able to thrive in fast paced environment
• Ability to work independently while meeting tight, often shifting, deadlines 
• Highly organized and extremely detail-oriented 
• Fluent in English (speaking and writing)
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Knowledge of current social media platforms
