Duties:

• Perform mid-level development of software applications for client’s various project needs with some oversight by senior developers.
• Design and develop software pertaining to various aspects of client systems including Toshiba 4690 OS, Linux, and cloud-based platforms, among other platform technologies.
• Design and develop system components, including the development of both Business Logic components (developed primarily using Java, JavaScript, and C , among other technologies and frameworks), as well as User Interface components (developed primarily using Java, JavaScript and XML/JSON, among other technologies and frameworks).
• Design and develop flexible interfaces using Java, JavaScript, and C to allow virtual access to the applications from multiple platform independent clients;
• Maintain and test existing software applications; Conduct periodic Unit, System, Integration and Regression testing.
• Responsible for the creation of automated testing tools using a mixture of software technologies. Requires a master’s degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or a closely related field of study. Requires knowledge of the following: object-oriented languages such as Java, or Objective C, or C ; custom logic to address customer requests.
• Solid foundational knowledge of software development processes and procedures.

Candidates must take a software development skills assessment test and earn a score of at least 50% and pass a technical interview. Requires domestic travel to client sites as needed. Telecommuting possible. Requires permanent work authorization inside the United States.
