SUMMARY OF POSITION

Kinsley is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to develop and maintain continued growth for our industrial services along the Route 222 corridor including Lancaster, Reading and Allentown markets. A successful candidate shall have a minimum of 10 years industrial, and construction related PM experience. Experience with concrete, fabrication, erection, millwright, and pipefitting are preferred. MSHA experience is a plus. TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES / ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Business Development including making initial contact with new clients
  • Work with clients to develop new project scopes
  • Stay closely involved with estimating staff including initial bid strategy and final bid review
  • Develop and maintain project schedules
  • Work closely with operations to optimize field staff and construction means and methods.
  • Must be willing to direct and enforce job site safety, knowledge of both OSHA and MSHA regulations is preferred
  • Oversee field supervision and assist in monitoring job site quality
  • Responsible for submittals and project documentation
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors
  • Interface with clients to negotiate change orders and to initiate additional work
  • Maintain client relations as needed for repeat business
  • Extensive daily travel will be required, overnight travel is not anticipated

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • A four-year degree in engineering or construction management
  • 10 years of experience as a project manager in the industrial/construction sector
  • Vast knowledge of local area and clientele
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is required
  • Knowledge of deep foundations and formed concrete is preferred
  • Knowledge of rigging, erection, and millwright work
  • Knowledge of process piping
  • Knowledge of both OSHA and MSHA safety regulations
