Night Auditor (Boutique Hotel)

Compensation: $14-$16 per hour/ Full-Time

Position Summary:

1. Provides administrative and receptionist support to guests of the hotel
2. Anticipate guests' needs and diligently help to resolve issues that may arise in a courteous and respectful manner

The Night Auditor helps to create a positive experience for guests from the moment they enter our hotel. The Night Auditor is personable, service-oriented, organized, high capacity, and adaptive. A Day in the Life Of: 

• Acts as the first point of contact for guests during check-in and assists with any issues or requests guests may have overnight.
• Answers phones and places reservations.
• Assists in running reports for management and provides support with hotel accounting.
• Maintains records as necessary.
• Resolves any guest billing and account balances issues.
• Reconciles all accounts in a timely manner. 
• Responds to guest complaints, requests and emergencies. 
• Verifies that all EOD work has been performed by other departments.
• Responds to guest inquiries, concerns and complaints as needed. 
• Maintains and builds a strong sense of community, integrity, and brand for all who visit and work in our hotel. Embody outrageous hospitality. 
• Performs guest check-ins and check-outs and acts as a receptionist.
• Willingness to learn and become fluent with PMS system and task management software.
• Serves in an administrative support capacity.
• Ensures that all main level doors are locked and the building is secure.
• Develops a thorough knowledge of the hotel room amenities, type of rooms, services of hotel, menu offerings, etc.
• Performs other duties or special projects as assigned by Leadership.

• Excellent organization and time management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and remain standing for an extended period of time.

Experience and Qualifications:

• Previous hotel reception experience is desired.
• Demonstrated success in a customer focused environment. 
• High School diploma is required. 
• Knowledge of Colorado Springs cultural outdoor recreation opportunities preferred.

• Working nights - Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday.
