Kingspan Insulation is Hiring a Territory Sales Manager Near Philadelphia, PA

Overview

Kingspan Insulation has an open opportunity for a Territory Sales Manager located in the Eastern PA/DE/MD area. This critical position is responsible for developing, selling, and maintaining Kingspan distributors in order to promote and sell the company’s products through-out the assigned territory. The ideal candidate will be able to sell and promote equally between distribution and end user’s to complete the sales process.

With its US headquarters in Atlanta, GA, Kingspan Insulation, is a leading manufacturer in energy efficiency and moisture management products, offering high performance insulation, building wraps and pre–insulated HVAC ductwork. The vast product range includes optimum, premium and high performance rigid insulation products which have many advantages over traditional insulation materials. Its products are among the most thermally efficient and technically advanced insulation materials available.

Key Duties Include

  • Perform all work in a safe manner; promotes and fosters a safe work environment.
  • Develops and implements new/special market programs when needed.
  • Evaluates potential business for existing and new markets.
  • Detail products to customers and end user’s on a regular and consistent basis.
  • Manger customer issues regarding sales and service.
  • Monitors customer preferences to determine focus of sales efforts.
  • Meets the customers' needs while following company policies/procedures.
  • Represents company at trade association meetings to promote products.
  • Daily travel required; 15% - 20% (3-4 nights/month) of that travel is overnight.

Essential duties are interpreted as being descriptive and not restrictive in nature. Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university plus at least 3-4 years of outside business to business sales experience in building products/insulation; OR high school diploma or GED plus 6-8 years of outside business to business sales experience in building products/insulation; or any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the above knowledge, skills and abilities. 

Must have:

  • Strong selling techniques; ability to build strong partnerships and close sales.
  • Confident self-starter who takes ownership of their assigned territory.
  • Solid understanding of residential and commercial construction practices for both new construction and remodeling.
  • Strong communication skills, effective interpersonal and problem solving ability.
  • Experience with business computer applications (Microsoft Office).
  • SAP and MS Dynamics, or similar ERP and CRM software experience.
  • Strong organizational skills; attention to detail; ability to multi-task and prioritize
  • Valid driver's license with record clean enough to be acceptable to our insurance carrier.

Must be able to:

  • Travel overnight as needed.
  • Maintain a high level of interpersonal skills.
  • Effectively interact with management, business group, customers, and vendors.
  • Make decisions, exercise judgment, and interface effectively with all levels of staff.
  • Work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast paced environment.
