We are looking for a Forklift Operator for our Modesto plant!

Starting pay is $18.00 per hour, 1st shift & 2nd shift available

Summary: Forklift operator is responsible for transporting bundles on a forklift or combi lift from the line to the yard, organize inventory for the line, provide support for the wrapper area, packaging area and scrap area while ensuring specifications are achieved per documented procedures.

Responsibilities

Essential Duties:

• Pick up bundles form takeout conveyer at the wrapper.
• Ensure bundle handling procedures and specification are achieved per SOP.
• Ensure Quality of Product meets defined requirements.
• Maintain housekeeping standards and preventive maintenance to equipment to ensure a safe and clean work environment.
• Adhere to established safety standards.

Training:

• Certified to drive forklift (inhouse certification)

Qualifications

Skills and Requirements:

• Basic forklift experience
• Good interpersonal skills.
• Good English speaking, reading and comprehension skills.
• Support weekly rotating shift requirements

Physical Demands:

• The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds., Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision, Peripheral vision, Depth perception and Ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to be on and off the forklift throughout the shift; use hands, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and stoop.
