Hours/Shift: Full Time/Days
Key Responsibilities:
The charge capture specialist oversees assigned departments’ charging through software system.
Minimum Requirements:
Education: High School Diploma or GED equivalent
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a healthcare setting
Skills/Knowledge: Ability to utilize resources in an organized manner (including technological resources and programs) • Effective interpersonal and customer relation skills • Proven computer skill is necessary with the use of electronic medical records programs. • Proven working knowledge medical terminology • Proven working knowledge and experience with Microsoft office and other computer software
Preferences:
Education: Training and certification in healthcare billing Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience working in revenue cycle
