King Technologies is Hiring a System Administrator Near Panama, FL
King Technologies is seeking a System Administrator to provide system administration services for the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) and Life Cycle Maintenance (LCM) support for the NSWC PCD RDT&E Unclassified Network and the NSWC PCD RDT&E Secure Defense Research and Engineering Network (SDREN) Laboratory (Classified) Network.
Position Summary/Descriptions:
Install, configure, upgrade, replace or remove hardware and software components from the NSWC PCD RDT&E environment desktop computers. Perform functions such as installing workstation operating systems and applications, performing security configuration, applying security updates and patches, troubleshooting, and supporting users with hardware or software issues. Supply desktop support for network related Microsoft® computer software on Microsoft® compatible hardware at the client’s location or via Desktop Remote Control. Troubleshoot, perform computer, installs, and connect software or hardware to the network in accordance with industry standards and local SOPs.
Essential Duties:
- Perform Tier 2 Help Desk functions
- Information Assurance Vulnerability Alert (IAVA) implementation and reporting. Microsoft® Internet Information Server (MS IIS) administration.
- Configuration management of classified and developer workstations.
- Configuration management of Microsoft® server and workstation software.
- Server security configuration to include drive and local account security setting.
- Maintenance of domain user accounts.
- COMSEC equipment configuration and maintenance.
- Creation and maintenance of technical documentation for SOPs for user guidance as needed.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Qualifications Required:
- DoD Secret Security Clearance
- DoD 8570.01-M Baseline IT Level I and IAT Level II certifications
- 3 years of experience
- Security certification
- Experience with VMware 4.0 or higher
- Windows Server 2016 certification desired
- Working knowledge of Adobe Pro, Linux, Mac, and Apple OS
- Microsoft Office Suite
