Job Summary:

To become a successful teammate within our Business Development Center (BDC) and achieve our independent auto dealer acquisition goals, we must engage with our potential partners via multiple channels. You will be challenged to connect with these potential partners by leveraging high energy through verbal and written skills during your outbound prospecting.
The Business Development Representative is one of the key resources utilized by Kinetic Advantage to connect with dealer partners. A successful BDR will establish relationships between Kinetic Advantage and independent dealerships with the goal of completing the application cycle or providing a lead to our field-based teammates. To ensure your success, we will provide you with the tools, training, and technology required to help you and Kinetic Advantage achieve our mutual goals. Responsibilities:
• Ability to earn trust and build relationships over the phone, effectively communicating and exchanging information, both
verbally and written
• Exceptional problem-solving skills, including the ability to ask probing questions to understand the needs of our dealer
partners
• Prospect and qualify new dealers via the phone through provided lead lists, cold-calls, website inquiries and referrals
• Consistently achieve daily/weekly/monthly goals and communicate and strategize with teammates to ensure market and
company goals are achieved
• Maintain a consistent follow-up process and ensure all prospective dealer leads and contacts are updated in the system
• Compile and review new dealer application packages and complete the new dealer sales summary form for submittal to
underwriting
• Professional maturity to handle sensitive information and situations with tact and discretion
• Provide excellent customer service from initial communication with dealers through application submittal, approval,
activation, and onboarding
• Maintain working knowledge of the industry, the competition, and the current market dynamics
• Performs all other duties as assigned
Requirements
Education and Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
• 1-3 years of inside sales or business development experience preferred
• Automotive industry experience preferred
Requirements
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Robust time management skills and attention to detail coupled with a proven ability to meet deadlines
• First-rate problem-solving skills combined with the ability to prioritize tasks
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced and, at times, stressful environment
• Strong presentation and negotiation skills
• Ability to effectively develop and maintain strong business relationships over the telephone
• Ability to work independently and in a group setting to achieve results
• Consultative Sales Approach
• Bilingual preferred but not required
Physical Requirements:
• Ability to sit at a desk and work on a computer for prolonged periods of time
• Must be able to communicate clearly
• Ability to operate computer and office equipment, maintain paper files, move about an office environment
• Must be able to move objects up to 20 pounds
• Ability to safely and successfully perform the essential job functions consistent with the ADA, FMLA, and other federal, state,
and local standards
