We have the vision to see what’s possible, the expertise to make it happen and the agility to overcome any challenge along the way. Summary of Position The Facilities Custodian maintains safety and cleanliness of the facility by following all safety standards, procedures, and guidelines for cleaning and sanitizing all site areas, following proper procedures for handling and disposing of hazardous materials or cleaning chemicals, and correcting/reporting unsafe situations to Management. Job Responsibilities Cleans all areas of the Facility (for example, floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) while following Company procedures, guidelines, and methods, and utilizing approved chemicals, supplies, tools, and equipment. Ensures a safe and clean environment for employees, contractors, and visitors by performing custodial maintenance as necessary, responding to spills or urgent clean-up needs, operating floor scrubbers, and disposing of cardboard, plastic, and trash. Maintains appropriate levels of Company-approved chemicals and supplies needed to ensure a safe and clean facility, including ensuring that chemical supplies are stored in proper containers in preparation for their use and placing orders to replenish supplies are low. Performs overall upkeep of the grounds. Including but not limited to emptying trash and recycling bins, cleaning indoor (i.e. by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming) and outdoor areas. Sets up tables and chairs for meetings as needed. Assists in moving and setting up furniture/equipment in offices. Monitor and inspect assigned work area while performing duties and after duties have been completed to verify that all work has been done in compliance with site-specific procedures, scope of work, and Kindeva standards. Participate in training programs covering subjects such as safety regulations, procedures, efficient/cost-effective methods of cleaning, and equipment preventive maintenance. Other jobs and duties as identified or assigned as needed. Key Working Relationships This role must maintain strong working relationships cross-functionally with business partners and peers across the site.
