Overview

We are seeking a motivated Talent Acquisition Specialist/Recruiter to join our recruiting team in Raleigh, NC.

Responsibilities

  • The qualified candidate will play an important role in the growth of Kimley-Horn across the Southeastern US by driving recruiting efforts for mid-level recruiting.
  • You will thrive in a supportive, collaborative team environment
  • Owning the sourcing process from search, initiating candidate relation to qualifications
  • Proactively identify and drive opportunities for improvements
  • Drive proactive sourcing of diverse candidates creating an on-demand pipeline of talent for the future
  • Attract the best and brightest to join our team through job boards, networking sites, social media, networking, cold calling, competitor research, career fairs, and other creative recruiting methods.
  • Creates and edits job descriptions and utilizes non-traditional recruiting methods to help fill open requisitions.
  • Responds to critical staffing needs including hard to fill positions and implements new sourcing ideas and methods to create innovative recruiting strategies.
  • Promotes the Employee Referral Program internally.
  • Build relationships with industry related schools and relevant organizations to attract and hire talent for all levels of the organization.
  • Coordinate weekly with senior recruiting team to prioritize hiring needs as a team.
  • Ability to interact and communicate well with individuals at all levels of the organization and across cultures, including the ability to handle difficult conversations.
  • Ability to keep up to date on trends and innovative recruiting techniques to attract and compete for top talent in the market
  • Develop and maintain effective internal relationships, maintain proactive communication with managers to ensure successful recruiting
  • Consult leadership and executives on hiring.

Qualifications

  • Professional presence and charisma, with ability to create strong working relationships with internal and external staff.
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a relevant field
  • Minimum of 2 years recruiting experience
  • Ability to quickly pivot focus based on business needs and continue to deliver results
  • Effectively manages internal business partner relationships
  • Advanced knowledge of the candidate market, as well as industry specific knowledge
  • Advanced ability in a wide range of existing and emerging sourcing skills
  • Ability to positively interact with a broad range of high-level, in-demand candidates
  • Ability to travel, as needed. 
  • This position will be in the office and not remote as relationship building is an important element of our culture.
