Kimley-Horn is Hiring a Senior Recruiter (Los Angeles, CA) Near Los Angeles, CA

Overview

Kimley-Horn is seeking a Senior Recruiter to join our recruiting team in Orange or Los Angeles, CA to support our recruiting efforts for professionals in the A/E/C industry. 

Responsibilities

The qualified individual will support the following recruiting activities: creating and tracking job postings, applicant sourcing and tracking, resume screening, interviewing prospective candidates, market and competitor research activities, engagement and facilitating teams and project managers, and creative sourcing for passive candidates while supporting the overall recruiting process. This position serves a key role in developing the growth within the California region on all positions relating to the A/E/C industry. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university in a relevant field.
  • At least 5 years relatable experience in a recruiting focused role. 
  • Professional presence and charisma, with ability to create strong working relationships with internal and external professionals.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Experience sourcing candidates via LinkedIn, online databases, applicant tracking systems and/or other internet research methods desired. 
  • Demonstrated ability to balance multiple priorities and competing demands with a positive and proactive approach and sense of urgency.
  • Ability to maintain records of recruiting activity and provide consistent recruiting progress updates to clients, members of leadership, and the Human Resources team.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to travel, as needed.
