Kforce has a client that is seeking an Equipment Engineer in Phoenix, AZ.Summary:You will ensure that our equipment & the supporting facility equipment is maintained in excellent working condition. As this equipment is used as part of our R&D work, you will need to be an excellent trouble shooter and be innovative in your approach while ensuring a safety-first approach.Responsibilities:
  • Equipment Engineer will create and maintain a high level of internal customer satisfaction through equipment skills, implementing effective quality responses to internal customers while maintaining a safety-first mentality
  • Effectively meet project objectives and goals
  • Develop improvements for processes, hardware and software for continuous improvement of ASM's equipment operations
  • Responsible for working with new R&D equipment in close interaction with mechanical, electrical, and software engineering
  • Support facilities upgrades, installation of new equipment and equipment upgrades for process development and application programs
  • Develop and support the facility equipment requirements/installation to ensure safe operations and NO HARM to the environment
  • As an Equipment Engineer, you will actively participate in creative process to conceptualize and design novel equipment
  • Writing procedures and process for in house activities
  • Meet milestones with deliverables as set by supervisor
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering on any of the disciplines: Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics
  • At least 2 - 4 years of experience in the semiconductor industry with hands-on experience in semiconductor capital equipment preferably in a clean room environment
  • ACAD or similar experience in both facility & equipment drawings
  • Demonstrated capability to provide detailed support of facility & process equipment installation
  • Proactive engagement with project leaders & process engineers to deliver to timelines with safety & quality
  • Knowledge of Semiconductor Deposition Equipment such as ALD, CVD, Epitaxy, Furnace, would be a strong plus

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.

Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.

This job is not eligible for bonuses, incentives or commissions.
