Keystone Mental Health Services is currently seeking Peer Support Specialists to join our team in making a positive difference in the lives of our neighbors and the community. The Work: Provide quality supports to adults with mental illness in community based settings Develop and implement an individualized Wellness Recovery Action Plan and related activities of advocacy, education, crisis management support, networking, and resource development and coordination Teaches and role models effective coping techniques and self-help strategies Provides transportation to individuals as needed and required Complete daily documentation as required The Perks: FT/PT: Competitive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401k, and more FT/PT: Generous paid time off program Extensive training and learning opportunities Career development and advancement Tuition reimbursement available per eligibility requirements Minimum Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent Current Peer Support Certification or ability to obtain Peer Support Certification within 6 months of hire is required Must demonstrate effective written and verbal communication skills; ability to read, interpret and apply policies and regulations Ability to learn and apply proficient computer skills, including the use of software and other web based system.
