Keystone Pediatric Therapy is a small team of local occupational therapists located in Cincinnati Ohio (Anderson Township). Our highly skilled team of OT’s is growing and looking to have a Speech Language Pathologists join their team. Keystone Pediatric Therapy is an award winning new outpatient pediatric clinic. We offer very specialized 1:1 sessions for our local families. Think boutique vs big box chain. Families enjoy our small intimate setting where it feels like “everybody knows your name.” We are a faith based business and welcome all families from all backgrounds. We are looking for a passionate, committed and patient-focused Speech Language Pathologist Therapist (Independent Contractor) to provide assessment, planning, goal development and treatment for children. Experience with pediatric evaluation and treatment is preferred.

You will offer effective, evidenced-based, morally driven, family and client-centered services.

The ideal candidate will have a holistic perspective, enjoy working with children while coaching families, while providing a therapeutic environment that aims to enhance the lives of children with disabilities so that they can play, learn, and grow with their peers. Responsibilities & Requirements:

The Speech Language Pathologist a licensed professional who evaluates and treats patients in accordance with state and national practice acts.

· Provides therapy evaluation to determine the extent of the symptoms and/or functional limitations relevant to the diagnosis.

· Develops treatment plan that is targeted and adjusted to decrease or eliminate the symptoms and functional limitations.

Education & Experience

· Masters required in Speech Language Pathology. May have a Doctorate.

· Must be licensed by the State of Ohio

· ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence preferred.

· CPR certified

· Good interpersonal skills and the ability to multitask.

Specific Job Functions

· Interprets medical history and performs a functional and comprehensive evaluation for pediatric populations

· Establishes an appropriate treatment plan based on the evaluation findings, the patient's individual goals, and current needs.

· Develops goals and objectives that are measurable, realistic, and in keeping with (and collaboration of) the patient's goals.

· Demonstrates sound clinical decisions and clinical competence in implementing, modifying, and progressing therapy utilizing evidence based techniques to meet the individualized patient goals.

· Establishes and maintains a therapeutic relationship with the patient, family, physician and other caregivers.

· Collaborate with patient, family, and caregivers in the treatment process as appropriate.

· Documents evaluations, treatment, progress notes, and/or discharge notes in a timely and accurate while also utilizes clear, concise, language for documentation.

· Documentation meets standards of regulatory agencies.

· Demonstrates the ability to work as a team member.

Pay: $46.00 - $49.00 per hour
