Keystone Clearwater Solutions is Hiring a Health, Safety and Environmental Specialist Near Mansfield, PA

Education/Qualifications:

Essential: *

1. Bachelor's degree in, Safety Sciences, Environmental Health, Occupational Safety or related discipline or minimum of 4 years equivalent experience in the oil and gas industry.
2. Minimum of 2 years’ experience in the Safety Field

1. Working Knowledge of oil and gas Industry.
2. Basic knowledge of federal and state regulations (OSHA, EPA, PADEP).
3. Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office Suit).
4. Strong analytical, problem solving and time management skills.
5. Must be flexible around work schedule and can travel.
6. Valid driver’s license required.
7. Good communication skills and the ability to work successfully with a wide variety of people at different levels within the organization.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: *
This position reports to the Keystone HSE Manager and will serve Keystone’s operations in southwestern Pennsylvania, Ohio, and West Virginia, with occasional travel to the Keystone’s offices located in Hershey, Pennsylvania and Williamsport, Pennsylvania and Keystone’s Field Operations located throughout Pennsylvania, Ohio, West Virginia, etc.

  • Assist the HSE Manager with the management of the Health, Safety and Environmental (HS&E) Compliance Program of the Company, which will include, but will not be limited to:

  • Conduct site inspections to audit compliance with requisite HS&E procedures and generate reports and recommendations based on findings.
  • Perform various training courses such as new hire orientation, customer specific orientation and company specialty training courses.
  • Assist in the completion of incident investigations and the preparation of Incident Reports and Root Cause Analysis Reports (as needed) and track and evaluate incident data and assist in the development of corrective actions and oversee their implementation.
  • Prepare and/or update the written HS&E policy and procedures of the Company under the direction of the HSE Manager.

In addition to the above, it should be noted that the HSE Specialist will be asked to remain available and on-call at times to respond to or deploy to project/site exigencies and/or emergency situations, or respond to incidents or accidents, as appropriate to assist senior management. The HSE Specialist may also be asked to attend client meetings, industry conferences, and roundtable workgroups to keep abreast of industry- and customer-standard and emerging policies and trends to maintain HS&E compliance as it affects all of the Company’s operations. Overnight travel will be required at times.
