Location: For Those Who Work At Home - Various, Ohio 44145 The Technical Writer (Associate Architect) will perform several different critical functions within the Enterprise Architecture (EA) team including updating and maintaining EA’s various internal sites, running the Architecture Review Board meetings, documenting and building EA Reference Architectures and Statement of Directions, and generating and executing ideas to increase visibility and awareness of EA artifacts and Community of Practice. As a member of this team, you’ll work with the Solution, Business, and Domain Architects as well as many others throughout the organization as part of your day-to-day duties. The Technical Writer (Associate Architect) also owns the ongoing EA backlog of requests around site improvements and Reference Architectures and Statement of Directions working closely with Architecture leadership around prioritization and execution. Finally, the Technical Writer (Associate Architect) will assist in driving consistency in various EA deliverables working across the Solution, Domain, and Business Architecture teams and EA leadership. Essential Functions and Responsibilities: 3- 5 years of Experience Design, deploy, document, and maintain Enterprise Architecture’s web assets Produce high-quality, clear, and concise documentation for our Reference Architecture and Statement of directions Summarize relevant information and follow-ups from Architecture Review Board and work with other Architects to ensure follow-ups are completed Ensure consistency in language and content for documentation through templating and mentoring Provide guidance and consistency to Configuration Item classifications and attributes Recommend and advocate for better processes that lead to improved efficiencies and user experiences Generates ideas Required Qualifications: Understanding and experience with coding (HTML, JavaScript, CSS, etc.) and low-code (SharePoint, Power Apps, etc.) concepts Proven ability to write high-quality documentation and familiarity with technical concepts and design Ability to listen, distill and document a technical presentation to capture relevant points and follow-ups Strong research, planning, writing, and communication skills Ability to scope, size and plan deliverables based on specifications Commitment to improving the customer experience; devoted to customer success Ability to work with and effectively communicate across a broad set of technical and business resources Must be highly reliable, trustworthy, honest, and commitment oriented Desired Qualifications: Experience building simple web sites and low-code applications Experience with basic technical architecture concepts like Services Oriented Architecture, Cloud computing concepts, basic infrastructure concepts, etc. Key has implemented a role-based Mobile by Design approach to our employee workspaces, dedicating space to those whose roles require specific workspaces, while providing flexible options for roles which are less dependent on assigned workspaces and can be performed effectively in a mobile environment.
