About the role

The Maintenance Planner will be responsible in the implementation and monitoring of the PM Work Orders issued to the mechanics. He will also lead in the planning and preparation of all scheduled repairs for the equipment.

Qualifications and skills

• High School graduate
• Good background in Manufacturing equipment
• Know the basic information to motors, gearbox, Mechanical Blueprint reading, will be in constant interaction with mechanics, Look for part in equipment manuals, willing to learn.
• Food Industry exp, Know how to PLC Electrical programming on Equipment, Machines Functions, Well versed air compressor, boilers, full schemes chemicals. Background on waste water.
• PC: Excel, Word, organized, handle pressure, Adaptable to fast paced environment
• Knowledge of MVP and SAP maintenance software
• Review completed WOs and generate follow up WOs to open tasks.
• Plans WOs, set- up needed parts, and execute timely to address current equipment issues.
• Works and coordinates with other departments to identify current plant issues.
• Interface with vendors and contractors on plant needs.
• Able to create WOs and POs for action items and parts needed by the department.
