Office Administrator Job Posting

We are a small, Christ centered, Montessori inspired preschool located inside Kernersville Moravian Church. Our beautiful, 10 acre campus is located in the heart of Kernersville, NC. We serve children from 22 months - 6 years of age. We are committed to bringing a high quality early childhood experience to all children regardless of race, creed or economic background and we strive to ensure that every child in our care has the opportunity to succeed and fulfill their personal potential. Our program runs from August - May and we offer 3 and 5 day programs with a half day (9:00 - Noon) or extended day (9:00 - 2:00) schedule. Candidates must have the following credentials:

  • Post secondary training in Business Administration and/or Accounting.
  • 3 - 5 years work experience, preferably in Child Care Administration.
  • Have strong communication skills, both oral and written to include proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Competent usage of Gmail and other online Social Media platforms.
  • Capable of Website management, preferably (WordPress).
  • Basic First Aid and CPR certified, or willing to obtain certification.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Work a 30 hour week (from 8:30 - 2:30) for approximately 10 months per year.
  • Wages are negotiated based on experience/qualifications and needs of the school.
  • Maintain daily operations of the Preschool Office.
  • Monitor all financial affairs of the school to include collection of revenue and payment of bills.
  • Submit annual and monthly budget reports using Microsoft Excel.
  • Maintain church and parent communication tools.
  • Organize volunteers for school wide events and fundraising efforts.
  • Maintain all staff and student records.
  • Collaborate with Program Director to hire, train and orient new employees.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour

Benefits:

  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Bonus pay

We currently have a mask optional policy. However, we are requiring daily temperature checks for all staff and students.
