Kern Collective is Hiring a Remote Graphic Designer
About us
We are a small team (right now) of 4-6 . We are tight knit and work fast and efficient. Every day is different. You may work on easy letter edits, and then jump into high end designs for Microsoft or Block Chain clients. Our roster is quite eclectic. We are looking for someone that is willing to work in the Tacoma area a few days/week. One of our rooms is a JAIL cell in the old court house (selling point). The job is currently a FREELANCE job only. So if you are looking to fill your roster of clients, or are just out of school and looking to learn - this could be the place for you.
We're looking for a creative, innovative, self-starting, and detail-oriented Graphic Designer to join our team. Candidates will work on a variety of projects, often collaborating with other designers and marketing staff to produce high-quality design work. The ideal candidate h is proficient in InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, XD/Figma and loves to design in the print and digital space.
Responsibilities:
- Create a design.
- Take direction.
- Organize work space.
- Use Apple/Mac.
- Deal with clients.
- Be flexible and willing to work long hours.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 4 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
Experience:
- Graphic design: 1 year (Preferred)
- Adobe Creative Suite: 1 year (Preferred)
Work Location: Hybrid remote in Tacoma, WA 98402
