KENTUCKY KINGDOM THEME PARK LLC is Hiring a Sales Manager Near Louisville, KY

Description

The Sales Manager under the direction of the Director of Marketing & Sales, is responsible for developing, leading, and executing all group sales strategies adjusting when necessary to ensure the established goals for for Kentucky Kingdom is met. The successful plan will include, but not be limited to, marketing and direct sales efforts which support the acquisition of school groups, SMERF groups, corporate groups, tour and travel groups, consignment admissions, and group-based event attendance. 

Requirements

The Sales Manager will work with the the Director of Marketing & Sales and HFE Property Support on the development of and execution of the annual group sales plan. The Sales Manager will be responsible for -

  • Delivering annual group sales attendance and revenue targets. 
  • Working with the marketing team to develop pricing and ticket strategies.
  • Developing sales presentations for potential group sales business.
  • The analytical summaries of group sales activities, attendance analysis, and/or concept testing.
  • The development of direct reports.

The successful must have

  • A Bachelor's Degree
  • A minimum 5 years sales experience in a management role.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, Content Management Systems and website analytical programs.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to travel locally to attend expos and trade shows as well as the ability to network during normal business hours as well as outside normal business hours.
  • Must have the ability to work weekend and evenings when needed.

This position requires a pre-employment background check.
