Overview

Kemin Industries is looking for a Digital Analyst to join the global Digital Marketing team! As a member of this team, you'll have the opportunity to use your analytics view to help set strategy, suggest enhancements and even create content to help drive higher engagement across Kemin assets. Not only will you report on activities, you will help drive change. 

This person partners closely with corporate digital and communication teams and cross-BU marketing teams especially content creators and digital marketing experts to provide data-driven, actionable insights that help Kemin teams shape their activities and make decisions that lead to greater customer and business impact, while strengthening Kemin’s overall digital maturity.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze business unit and corporate level digital performance and help develop KPIs.
  • Promote digital analytics best practices and provide training to business unit marketing specialists as needed.
  • Assess and evaluate business unit digital analytics maturity level.
  • Use analytic tools to understand the user flow, drop off points, and present recommendations for improvement.
  • Analyze web conversion data and perform SEO keyword research and question analysis to guide campaign decisions.
  • Manage site tagging through Adobe Launch or Google Tag Manager; work closely with IT and agency partners
  • Accurately presents findings in an appropriate and timely manner to allow the management team to make critical decisions based on key research data.
  • Make presentations on findings
  • Serve as the departmental resource for BI data and dashboards using Power BI and other internal and external systems as needed.
  • Stay current on the latest SEO, SEM and digital marketing industry information, trends and opportunities.
  • Support the digital marketing team by providing strategic direction and implementing digital campaigns.
  • Brainstorming digital marketing strategies, performing research, analyzing data and implementing content strategies on various platforms.
  • Launch experiments on our websites and paid media accounts - leveraging a variety of tracking methods in order to analyze the results.
  • Find ways to optimize our marketing funnel - creating recommendations for digital copy
  • Communicate the effectiveness of new product launches, site changes and paid media initiatives.
  • Design, implement, manage, and continually optimize a digital media marketing strategy across paid and organic media channels and digital touch points including PPC, social, display, content, and email to drive leads and product sales
  • Collaborate with internal product marketing strategists and content SMEs to understand priorities, identify opportunities, and integrate digital media into larger prospect communication and asset development efforts.
  • Up to 5% domestic and international travel, it may vary depending on the actual job and project requirements.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, advertising or data analytics with 3 years of experience working with data analytics
  • Prior advertising agency experience or B2B marketing is a plus
  • Adobe Analytics or Google Analytics Certification preferred
  • Additional related experience may substitute
  • Direct marketing experience with online display advertising, content marketing, affiliate marketing, email, website analytics and conversion metrics.
  • Knowledge of search engine algorithms and ranking strategies for Google.
  • Excellent analytic skills with experience in statistical modeling and analysis.
  • Landing page conversion and optimization experience.
  • Proficiency with MS Excel is a must and knowledge of MS Access and SQL applications a plus.
  • Ability to present complex information internally and externally.
  • The ability to present and communicate ideas and findings effectively to customers, vendors, peers and all levels of management.
