The Registered Nurse in Radiology is responsible for providing direct patient care by applying special clinical nursing knowledge and skills related to the Medical Imaging setting. He or she will strive to ensure the safety and comfort of patients and families according to legal, organizational and professional standards.

Salary Range: $78,940-$103,608.75
(Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc.)
This position will only consider candidates whose highest attained degree is an RN (no advanced nursing degrees will be considered or allowed to function in this role)

Graduate of an approved RN nursing program

Bachelor’s degree in nursing
Experience

Minimum 2 years’ experience as a practicing RN

Two years or greater nursing experience in a medical imaging department
Licenses

Current and valid RN license
Current BCLS issued by the American Heart Association
B.
Specialty nursing certification applicable to medical imaging
ACLS Certification
Special Skills
A.
Competent in the use of equipment and related supplies for selected patient population. CPR, oxygen administration and intravenous therapy. CRT experience
B.
Windows computer experience, RIS experience
