Client Support Manager with K.E.L.L.Y. Youth Services, Inc. in Cincinnati, OH

K.E.L.L.Y. Youth Services, Inc. also known as KYS is an Ohio 501(c) (3) non-profit corporation operating group homes in Hamilton County, Ohio. KYS facilities range from 4-12 beds. We specialize in 24-hour private non-custodial group home and independent living programs that foster and empower living and learning for youth aged 9 to 21 years old. Our residential setting programs develop individuals from substitute care to independently living responsible adults.

As the Client Support Manager, manages direct care staff and is responsible for conducting initial screenings for services and overseeing case management directives lead by direct care staff. The CSM is expected to administer the delivery of services to clients as well as serves as link between business management, direct care, and clients. The CSM plays an integral role in business communications, both internal and external.

In addition, you will: 

• Oversee maintenance of high-quality supportive services
• Implement assessment of placement referrals and individuals served currently
• Conduct intake, discharge, and transition plan as well as the implementation of initial service planning, family, and peer goals
• Perform investigations on incidents as necessary including reviewing all internal and external incident, behavior, medical, and quality assurance reports
• Coordinate services in the areas of clinical, personnel and programming
• Responsible for care management related reports including but not limited to: outcomes, successes, etc.
• Administer admission history for agency outcome measure reporting
• Evaluate client histories, arrange case consultations, make recommendations to case managers regarding client eligibility
• Facilitate coordination of all case management objectives
• Point of contact for county utilization management (UM) departments
• Maintain accurate documentation of service objectives and outcomes as well as other services in accordance with Federal, State, County and KYS policies and procedures
• Adhere to strict boundaries and professional ethics in the care of others
• Provide ongoing feedback and support to client services and support staff

Requirements

• Minimum of a B.A., ideally with an MBA or related advanced degree
• At least 5 years of overall professional experience; ideally 3 years of industry related and business management experience
• Experience in social service setting with working knowledge of case management & electronic medical record systems (preferably Managed Care Partnership (MCP) & CareLogic Enterprise)
• Knowledge of intake procedures and the Continuum of Care for homeless or displaced persons
• Experience working with individuals in crisis and families, a plus
• Creative problem-solver
• Proficient in Microsoft Office 365
• Must have ability to represent KYS in a positive manner within the community
• Must be at least 21 years of age, have valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record
• Must be available to participate in monthly staff meetings and all licensing required training
