We’re seeking Cafeteria Dishwasher to work in a temporary with a top client in Topeka, KS. We’re here to help you find something great that works for you—so you won’t miss a moment of what really matters in your life.Snapshot:
- Duration: At least 3-4 weeks
- Start Date: ASAP
- Pay rate is $15.50/hour
- Shift Information: Monday through Friday 7:00AM until 3:30PM
- Fills three-vat sinks with required amounts of soap and disinfectant to ensure PPM level is maintained as required by Health Department.
- Fills power-soak sink as specified by manufacturer.
- Empties and cleans all sinks when washing is complete.
- Must be able to keep up with soiled trays, pots, and pans, etc.
- Assist in weekly cleaning of overhead exhaust filters.
- Be able to stand and be mobile for long periods of time.
- Required minimal cross training in other areas of food preparation and services.
- Exhibits outstanding attendance and punctuality and takes corrective measures to prevent reoccurring absences.
- Demonstrates complete understanding of department’s policies and procedures.
- Displays a positive and enthusiastic approach to all assignments.
- Develops a positive relationship with department and organization staff.
- Completes shift work as assigned timely and thoroughly in accordance with department standards.
- Must be able to meet job requirements and be available for work as scheduled.
- The ability to quickly move your hand, your hand together with your arm, or your two hands to grasp, manipulate, or assemble objects. Requires ability to stand and be mobile for long periods of time. Requires constant bending, stooping, lifting and pull and push items. Subject to exposure to hot food, pans, trays, heat, steam, highly flammable liquids, cuts from knives and use of equipment requiring extreme caution. Subject to wet floors, extreme temperature changes and loud noise. May have to immerse hands and/or work with cleaning supplies and chemicals in a food operation. Requires lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally and 10 to 20 pounds, frequently.
- High school diploma or GED
- 6 months of related experience
- Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions
- Always maintains professional appearance per department standards
