Electrical Design Engineer Intern

KEB is currently seeking talented students for an exciting opportunity in our Engineering Department. The Electrical Design Engineer Intern will acquire knowledge and develop basic skills while performing routine technical work for the Electrical Engineering Team.

Requirements

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

· Perform validation tests by following procedures

· Collect data and gather information for documentation and test reports

· Perform simple computations and analyses

· Prepare drawings, schematics, and visual aids

· Build prototype assemblies

Education / Experience

· Enrolled in a four year professional degree specifically B.S.E.E. with a GPA >= 3.0

· Basic electrical engineering knowledge of circuits and design

· Experience with lab equipment and tools for electrical design and troubleshooting

Specific Technical Skills (May be learned on the job)

· Competence using oscilloscopes and test equipment

· Redmine project management system

· Use of Eplan and/or CADSTAR for schematic editing or development

· Electrical design calculations (power, voltage, current, impedance, etc.)

· Use of Matlab for simulation and modeling behaviors

· Use of SPICE as a circuit simulator

· Fundamentals of three phase power systems

· Professional and ethical responsibilities.
