KC Current is Hiring a Manager of Partnership Activation Near Riverside, MO
The Kansas City Current is seeking a Manager of Partnership Activation who has a strong passion for corporate partnership activation and service experience for a professional sports team. This person will be responsible for assisting leaders of the department with relationship building, execution and overall management of the teams’ corporate partnerships, and to help drive revenue by renewing and growing our partnerships.
This position will be involved in all aspects of the Corporate Partnership Department’s overall operations, including community programs, marketing campaigns, special event planning, brand management and media management. The Manager of Partnership Activation will work within the Corporate Partnerships Team and report to the Director of Partnership Activation and the VP of Partnerships.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities:
Act as a liaison between Kansas City Current and assigned corporate partners
Explore and understand each partner’s business and industry, and the goals and objectives of their partnerships with the Kansas City Current
Manage various projects of disciplines within the Corporate Partnerships Department that will positively impact the teams’ strategy for current and new partners. Such disciplines could include community relations projects, social media strategies, unique events and maximizing PR efforts, etc.
Manage and maintain contracts, including game day responsibilities
Develop a proof of performance process for tracking and measuring the effectiveness of assigned partnerships platforms to demonstrate ROI
Assist with partnership presentations and meetings including renewal proposals, mid-season, and end of year recap presentations
Provide unprecedented customer service and superior level of productivity and responsiveness
Other duties and responsibilities as assigned

Minimum Education and Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field
Two (2) years of partnership activation experience
Working knowledge of sports and sports teams, soccer, and/or women’s professional sports preferred.
Physical Requirements:
Prolonged periods of sitting at desk and working on a computer
Prolonged periods of standing and walking long distances
Must be able to lift up-to 25 pounds at a time
