Job Summary Provide overall leadership and direction to the business unit by ensuring the safe and efficient performance of the manufacturing facilities, employees and operations through the implementation of manufacturing strategies and action plans to ensure manufacturing supports EPGA’s strategic objectives. Job Description Leads continuous improvement efforts and develop capital projects for plant and automation upgrades. Participates in formulating and administering company policies and developing long range goals and objectives. Reviews analyses of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine department or division progress toward stated goals and objectives. Coordinates with EH & S Management System to ensure team members follow job procedures and environmental work instructions including those related to hazardous waste management. Works with team members to develops and establishes an annual budget which integrates all functions in the organization and implements procedures to meet the identified goals. Works with team members to establishes annual cost reduction goals for the organization to meet the business plan. Consults and coordinates with all levels of management to provide information on such issues as drawing, new orders, delivery dates, production, and other matters to determine and communicate proper actions to take. Works with team members to develop and implement policies and procedures at the organization to facilitate timely shipment of product assemblies. Evaluates team member relations and identifies ways to improve team member involvement and commitment to goals and objectives. Grow the manufacturing capabilities within the business unit with the emphasis on employee and customer safety, quality, customer satisfaction, and production / process cost Translates customer requirements into manufacturing strategies. Handling all administrative items necessary to ensure that company is compliant with any and all requirements and benchmarks. Coaching and elevating performance of direct reports through goal-setting, coaching and providing timely feedback. Develop and implement operation systems and procedures to enhance operating performance, quality and throughput Develop and execute on manufacturing capital plan Promote the company in industry, manufacturing and trade associations as well as maintain contact with industry thought leaders and continually seek new techniques and applications Provide Positive Employee to Employer Relations to promote a productive / harmonious work place.
