KARL STORZ ENDOSCOPY is Hiring a Staff Accountant 1 Near El Segundo, CA
We are seeking to hire a full-time Staff Accountant. This person will have the flexibility to work from home for a majority of the week, but will need to come to our El Segundo headquarters a few times per month, as needed. Essential Functions:
- Prepare and post journal entries
- Prepare account reconciliations, research, and book corrections
- Identify and investigate discrepancies
- Prepare supporting documents for external auditors
- Prepare/distribute recurring deliverables
- Use judgement in proposing solutions
- Create documentation of accounting procedures
- Suggest and implement process improvements
- Special projects, as assigned
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field.
- 1 years of experience.
- Strong skills in Excel are required.
- Possess exceptional organizational skills & ability to multi-task.
- General understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
- Willing and able to make process improvement suggestion
