Summary of Job’s Purpose:

A Senior Designer reports to the Associate Director, Design and will oversee junior designers and complete individual design projects. The role requires a confident, seasoned designer that can manage the design process from ideation to execution. A Senior Designer will have a passion for modern and elegant design that can be translated into the creation of best-in-class print and digital brand/sales marketing executions. A Senior Designer is integral to the production of best-in-class print and digital brand/sales marketing executions that reflect the design vision set forth by creative leadership.

The Position:

• The role requires a confident, seasoned designer that can manage the design process from ideation to execution. 
• Rely on existing design guidelines and art direction to produce marketing collateral
• Produce sales materials and marketing communications, including client presentations, new product go-to-market materials, sell sheets, event collateral, email blasts, and more
• Mentor junior designers and review their concepts and designs before final delivery
• Manage the production of internal and external swag, from vendor research and mock-ups to preparing final design files and distribution of final products
• Provide image research support
• Help develop and refine a bold, sophisticated visual identity that will inform all communications across multiple channels
• Ensure that all Kargo output is cohesive, compelling and consistent in look and feel
• Utilize platform analytics and internal data to identify and replicate marketing executions that consistently resonate with their intended audiences

The Requirements:

• 5 years of relevant experience
• Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and self-management skills
• Ability to rapidly adapt as business needs change
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Mac and PC based skills
• Proficient in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign
• Ability to prioritize and effectively manage multiple projects/brands
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Experience in Wordpress, Hubspot, Clearslide is a plus
• Proficiency in motion graphics (Adobe AfterEffects) is a plus
